The Youth Policy Lab (YPL) will supplement the ongoing IES funded evaluation of TRAILS Tier 2 with longitudinal analysis of individual DPSCD student-level changes in anxiety and depression over time, particularly among students in IES evaluation cohort A schools. In collaboration with Dr. Jennifer Erb-Downward and researchers at Wayne State University, the Youth Policy Lab will explore and report on DPSCD student experiences of homelessness and associations with other outcomes. If time allows the Youth Policy Lab will work with TRAILS staff to develop an analysis plan to examine predictors of strong vs. weak implementation of TRAILS programming in schools. This work would be continued in subsequent years.
