Julie de Jong will collaborate with Dr. Mansoor Moaddel at the University of Maryland to fulfill the remaining research objectives of the cross-national survey project on ?Cross-National Analysis of Islamic Fundamentalism?. Two major research objectives will be completed. The first includes rigorous analyses of cross-national data that have been collected on seven Middle Eastern countries and the publications of the findings from these analyses. The other is to carry out a panel survey in Tunisia by re-interviewing the nationally representative sample of 3,070 respondents who participated in the survey that was carried out in the country in 2013.
