The purpose of this project is to make it easier for physicians to directly refer their patients to Early On, a free program in Michigan that supports families with children who have, or are at risk of, developmental delays. As part of the project, MIAAP will work with the IT/EMR systems at small and large practices throughout the state to add an E-fax referral template that can be immediately accessed from the physician workflow and sent directly to Early On. We will also provide training to pediatric care providers and trainees on 1) the role of Early On in supporting children with developmental delays, and 2) how to use the E-fax system.
