This research program continues a long standing relationship with the Federal Reserve Board. The research will focus on various aspects of how households manage their financial assets and debts. The topics will range for consumers’ perceptions of the comparative risks involved with various financial instruments, the impact of change in wealth holdings on current spending, to the use of credit card, installment, home equity, and other types of debts, and the extent to which the debt burdens have become problematic for households. This is a supplement to previous PAF 16-PAF02666 to account for an overrun in minutes for survey questions
