This is a proposed arrangement between the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston (Boston Fed) and the Regents of the University of Michigan under which the Boston Fed will receive access during calendar year 2011 to a specified amount of questionnaire space in the Survey Research Center’s (SRC) Surveys of Consumers for content of its own choosing.
Under this proposal, the Boston Fed will be charged up to $31,500 — up to 2 minutes of survey time per month at $7,500 per minute per month for 2 months — for the data processing and documentation of the questions added to the July and August 2011 surveys, plus an additional $750 per month for data merging of external data based on geographic data.
