This proposal is in support of the collection of controls to strengthen the effort of the Michigan Lupus Epidemiology & Surveillance (MILES) program. Using Address Based Sampling (ABS) methods, SRO will provide a fixed level of effort targeting the contact and screening of up to 2,700 addresses from Washtenaw and Wayne Counties in Michigan. SRO is targeting providing the MILES Principal Investigator (PI) a list of up to 500 respondents who met the screening requirements and during the screening interview and agreed to be contacted by the MILES project staff to discuss participation in an initial clinical visit. As this is a Firm Fixed Price agreement and due to the variability in the occupancy, eligibility, and cooperation rates for this population, the number of addresses to be screened and the actual number of respondents? contact information to be delivered to the MILES PI are targets. We cannot guarantee the number of screens completed or the number of respondents? contact information to be delivered to the MILES PI.
