The Transition from Childhood into Adulthood among PSID Children, 2013 and 2015 (Diversity Supplement Application for Teri Rosales)

This is an application for a Diversity Supplement to an NICHD-funded parent project that collects, enhances, and distributes data on young adults from the Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) through the Transition into Adulthood (TA) Study. The supplement will provide support for adding a newly-trained sociologist, Teri A. Rosales, to the project. Rosales will pursue a set of activities that will contribute significantly to the trajectory of her career development and will be closely integrated with project activities. This supplement’s substantive aims are to advance understanding about how life course agency in adolescence is linked to post-secondary educational transitions in young adulthood and how adolescents? life course agency is shaped by family background and demographic characteristics.
