The Education Innovation Laboratory (Ed Labs) at Harvard University is conducting a study of New York City public charter schools with data collection occurring in the late part of the 2009-2010 school-year. The Survey Research Center (SRC) at the University of Michigan is partnering with Ed Labs to collect video and interview data from about 40-50 charter schools between early May and late June. We will work with researchers at Ed Labs to refine the study design and data collection plan and will implement the data collection activities. The project will provide an opportunity for the Survey Research Operations (SRO) to further develop school based data collection capabilities especially those that involve a videotaping component.
