IRB COMMON RULE Presentation – Cindy Shindledecker, Director of the IRB-HSBS
In January 2017, the Department of Health and Human Services updated the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Research Subjects, also known as the Common Rule. These regulatory changes go into effect on January 19, 2018.
The session, presented by Cindy Shindledecker, director of the IRB-HSBS, will cover key changes in the regulations, changes to the eResearch IRB application, and changes to IRB business processes designed to address the required changes. A question and answer period will follow. Questions about your specific research discipline are welcome.
