Health and Retirement Study Genetic Data Now Available
In 2009 the NIA began receiving funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to expand research in aging and age-related cognitive change. One many projects supported by these funds was the genotyping of DNA samples collected from almost 20,000 participants in the Health and Retirement Study.
