Joe Biden’s Inflation Claims Challenged
President Joe Biden has claimed that inflation is coming down in the United States and is now lower than than other major world economies. While this claim has been disputed on social media, experts expect the strong performance of the economy to be an advantage to Biden in the November election. Joanne Hsu said,
“Consumers are feeling much more confident that inflation has turned a corner, that the inflation slowdown is going to stick. The second thing that consumers are more confident about is with their labor market perceptions and expectations. They’re feeling more confident about the trajectory of their incomes in the year ahead.”
