Ken Langa discusses the falling rate of dementia in Scientific American
Scientific American highlighted new research on the connections between mental illness and dementia. Progress on some risk factors may explain decreasing rates of dementia. Ken Langa said, “We think there are two main reasons: better cardiovascular risk factor control and a big increase in education level.” Ideally these efforts would begin in childhood.
