Langa’s research featured in Washington Post

portrait of Kenneth LangaKen Langa’s research on the downward trend of dementia prevalence was featured in the Washington Post article, Now More Of Us Can Count On More Time Dodging The Dementia Bullet. Langa also comments on research, which uses data from the Health and Retirement Study, finding that cognitive impairment and unhappiness do not necessarily go together. Langa says this 'fit(s) my general experience and sense of treating older patients in my clinical work. 'As cognitive decline worsens, I think it is more likely that one can become unhappy.'
