Money cited research in a new NBER working paper by Lauren Schmitz and Dalton Conley, of Princeton University, which finds that people over the age of 50 who are not yet eligible for Social Security are more likely to gain weight and experience worse health than comparable workers who were employed. This study used data from the Health and Retirement Study.
