Miech comments in a CNN piece about links between smoking and marijuana use
A new study in the American Journal of Health finds that smokers are 7 times more likely to use marijuana daily than non-smokers. In a piece — Smokers are 7 times more likely to use marijuana daily, study says — on CNN, Richard Miech says that trends of marijuana use are particularly interesting “because of the growing wave of states that are legalizing marijuana for recreational use…Legalization has the potential to increase marijuana use in all states because many will interpret legalization as a signal that marijuana use is safe and state-sanctioned.”
