Miech comments on a new study showing teens who vape are more likely to use marijuana later
A new study in Pediatrics finds an association between teen e-cigarette and hookah use and later marijuana use. Richard Miech, who was not one of the study’s authors, comments, “Once you start vaping, I think you become known as the person who vapes, who’s cool. You get invited to parties where people are going to smoke cigarettes and smoke marijuana because you vape already. So there’s that social component.”
