As Ford unveils its plans to remake its Dearborn campus, Felix Kabo says they would do well to make sure they are paying attention to the ways physical spaces impact teamwork: “Many organizations throw billions into building magnificent buildings, but they don't hear this very simple idea: If you don't understand how your social and spatial environments are interacting, more likely than not all that investment is for naught.”
