We are requesting an administrative supplement for three interrelated activities, all aimed at enhancing the main MI-NY-Van study. First, we would conduct cognitive interviews on a small sample of Vanguard clients with the aim of improving the first wave of surveys of the MI-NY-Van panel. Second, we would prepare a report describing what we learn from the cognitive interviews and the lessons for the design of the MI-NY-Van panel. Third, we would have several workshops on the design of the MI-NY-Van panel to discuss both the lessons of the cognitive interviews and more broadly to get input from experts into the design of the panel.
