Childhood Housing Assistance and Adult Health: Life Course Critical Periods and Cumulative Impact

Two key tasks will be undertaken at the University of Michigan as part of this project. First, Narayan Sastry will collaborate with Jeffrey Colvin and other members of the research team to use data from PSID to examine the effects of exposure to housing assistance during childhood on chronic health outcomes during adulthood. Sastry and the staff at the University of Michigan will provide expertise in using PSID data to characterize childrens exposures and study health outcomes over the life course. Second, Sastry will consult on and participate in the preparation of manuscripts and presentations describing the research methods and study results.
