The Youth Policy Lab (YPL) launched the Michigan Data & Policy Fellowship program in 2019 to provide the State of Michigan technical assistance and strategic support to achieve specific and measurable improvements in social policies and programs operated by the state. To build on the successful work of the first 2019-2021 Maternal and Infant Health fellowship position, YPL and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) have jointly agreed to place a subsequent 2021-2023 Data & Policy Fellow in support of MDHHS? efforts to improve maternal and infant health in our state.
