Philanthropy Panel Study (PPS) – PSID 2023 Philanthropy Module (Wave 43) Mott

The Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) is a longitudinal study since 1968 of a representative sample of U.S. individuals and the family units in which they reside. The studys long-term span, innovative genealogical design, and comprehensive content have been critical to the fundamental understanding of a wide variety of key social science issues, including those involving life course effects. The main goal of this supplement is to collect approximately three minutes of content on philanthropy and religious attendance from PSID families during wave 43 in 2023 ($441,867 total costs) and to process, and disseminate the data collected within PSIDs publicly accessible data center (www.psidonline.org).
