Ken Langa discusses new Alzheimer’s drug

An article in the Washington Post discusses the use of a new drug, Aduhelm, in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Determining who has MCI is complicated and administering more than one set of tests is necessary. Ken Langa says, “Administering tests to people over time can do a pretty good job of identifying who’s actually declining and who’s not.” He also says carefully selecting people with MCI to receive Aduhelm is becoming a priority.
