Low inflation doesn’t relieve the pain of high prices
Consumers are anticipating future lower inflation, but historically high prices continue to darken consumer sentiment. Joanne Hsu told Marketplace, “Even though consumers have noticed inflation has slowed, they have also noticed that the impact of those prices on their living standards is still pretty painful.”
