Survey Data Collection
SRO provides fully integrated administration of multi-mode data collection projects. Working collaboratively with clients to achieve research objectives, SRO strives to optimize multi-mode design to maximize quality across all data collection modes.
Proposal Development and Cost Estimates
SRO collaborates with researchers to develop project designs, work scope, budgets, and proposal content for data collection projects.
Project Management and Cost Monitoring
SRO project leads manage development, testing, and coordination of all survey activities, ensuring efficient project implementation, cost monitoring, and reporting.
Data Collection Support
SRO provides all of the services required to successfully implement and support high quality data collection across modes. This includes comprehensive interviewer training, quality assurance, respondent location, panel maintenance, mailing and incentive administration, and providing support for respondents.
Sampling and Weighting
SRO develops and implements a range of sample design and selection protocols from multi-stage area probability samples to list-based and respondent-driven techniques. SRO services also include the design and construction of sample weights, non-response adjustment, and imputation.
Questionnaire Instrument Development
SRO collaborates with researchers on the development and testing of survey questionnaires, working to minimize potential sources of survey error and ensure validity, reliability, and cultural appropriateness. SRO has extensive experience in creating and developing a variety of instruments in collaboration with research teams.
SRO Technical Systems
SRO primarily employs Blaise Computer Assisted Interview (CAI) software to collect substantive interview data and our custom sample management system software to manage and track the status of each case and the effort expended by interviewers. Systems support multi-modal contact and interview methods and provide the tools needed to collect, monitor, and report on all aspects of even the most complex survey designs.
